Stop Whining

Ironic, coming from me, I know.

But it's Christmas.  CHRISTMAS.

Tired of reading and hearing about people claiming Christmas is nothing more than a commercial holiday.

*yawn*  You people bore me with your complaining, okay?

If you don't want to buy a present for someone, then don't.  If you don't want to spend your money on decorations, then don't.  No one is forcing you to participate in gift giving, or receiving either.

However, there's another way to look at it.  Even if it is commercial, look at the gazillion's of people who get a paycheck because of it.  Everyone who makes the gifts, transports the gifts, and sells the gifts.  It's good for the economy.  Shopping is good!

But that doesn't mean you have to go out and get into debt.  If you don't have a lot of money, be creative and make something.  You can make Christmas memorable without money.  One of my favorite Christmas memories from when I was a kid is riding around looking at Christmas lights with my family.

Anyhow, there's no reason to be emo over the rest of society who actually enjoys this time of year.  Save your bloody tears, okay?

Christmas is what you make of it.

Popular. You're Gonna Be Pop-U-Larrrrr

Suddenly, everywhere, "Shalee did this" and "Shalee did that". Poems! Fanmail! Strange random convos.

lol.

I feel like Galinda in the musical, Wicked. (hence the title of this post, it's lyrics from one of the songs)

Just to say, I did not rage quit the night I was podded on the Huola station. I don't fly with slaves anymore so getting podded isn't that big of a deal. It's equal to losing a ship, my implants are not expensive. Nor did I ragequit after the Customs Office battle.

I dutifully joined that fleet because some of my corpies were there, despite vowing not to fly another BS around Huola etc, because of the hotdropping.

I didn't ragequit at all, I switched to an alt because I was moving stuff around, I was still on vent chatting with my guys.

And, ILAW was already in the process of moving out of Huola.

Our corp has plans to do some stuff out of area for a few weeks, we've been planning this for the last couple of weeks in fact, it has nothing to do with the Mims 'taking' Huola. No one really cares all that much for occupancy at the moment since it doesn't mean anything.

It's amusing that some people think we are leaving the area because of that. Truthfully Huola can be taken back in the matter of hours with the new plexing mechanics. When we come back to Huola I'm sure we will retake the system (if we are bored).

Anyhow, enough of that nonsense.
