My apologies for the long wait; at the moment our queues are extremely busy and we try to get at each petition as fast as possible.

According to our logs your pod was warp scrambled before the first warp command was given. This is why you were not able to get away. Nothing in the game has changed how this works, however, while spamming a button may help you get the timing right, it may also cause client side lag.

Another rant.

But before I do. I dreamed that Kreiga from PIE was an emo rock star who wore bad make up and was on this Aussie talk show. And I was all like, omg I know that guy. And he was whining about no one takes him serious because he really wants to be a psychologist.

Anyhow, on to the rant.

Being podded.

From my understanding, the way to not get podded is to select something far away, align, and spam the fuck out of warp, continuously. You don't wait til you're in structure, you do it long before then.

It has worked every single time since I've learned how to do it.

On Feb 19th, it did not work and I got podded. It was laggy to hell. I petitioned, got my implants back. Not a big deal.

Before that, I did a podding for RP purposes, so I don't even count that since it was on purpose.

So I've not really been podded due to my own fault since September of last year.

I really don't get podded all that often in comparison to how much I PVP.

So all of a sudden I get podded twice in eight days. I petitioned the first one and they said there was no lag. This being on the day that I was stuck on the Sarum Prime Star gate for 20 minutes before the game shut down completely for 20 minutes. The day was laggy as fuck. I wrote back and asked them if they even played the game. Smart ass I know, but still.

Then last night, Eran and I were fucking around warp scrambling each other in a plex that we had closed with some other people. The Minmatar warped in, we were on the warp in and yeah, I knew I was going to die. It was a shitty omen, I didn't really care. So I'm aligning and spamming to warp out like usual, but this time it doesn't work. It's like there's not even time between the explosion and waking up in a clone vat.

So the irritating thing is, if I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing, and it doesn't work and there's a considerable loss (implants), then I'm not really all that inspired to play a broken fucked up game.

Yeah, I'm annoyed.

It's one thing when the players are trying to fuck you over, but it's a whole other thing when it comes from CCP, people I pay money to.

If any person buys that, I just can't talk to them anymore. I can only tolerate so much stupid.

RAEGGGG

EVE was such a wretched place last night. Our fleet took a trip down to Gallente space and during our engagement with the frenchies we started having lag issues.

One gazillion jumps back to Amarr took even longer than usual because of lag. Once I got to Amarr, I sat on the Sarum Prime gate for fifteen minutes or more (traffic jam?), then EVE shut down for half an hour at least.

Did a small 3man (well 2 men & lady? lol) roam with Jodie as our FC, and I was soooooooo excited to be flying under Jodie (legendary!).

We go all over the warzone, one million places. Get back to Huola and that is where we get our fight. (blobbed) And my stupid assed game lagged. As soon as I hit structure I was aligned out and spamming the warp button, I should have easily made it out of that, but no. No no no, I end up in Amarr, new clone.

FOUR people got on my pod mail. How fucked up is that?

So of course I petitioned, and if I don't get my implants back imma emo rage quit, or something. Go dance on a mailbox in WOW.

And I was all sadface to be PODDED in my first fleet with Jodie. Grr.

To any Minmatar who is reading this. I want my corpse back :P

Dreams

I had a dream about Kuan Yida last night, that he came to tell me that he was quitting EVE. And then we went to have dinner on the top of this mountain with this beautiful view, but since it was slanted I kept sliding off the seat lol.

I dream about EVE all the time (and a thousand other things too, I never stop dreaming apparently).

The other night on Vent the militia guys were talking about dreams. It was kinda funny.

I love random convos on vent waiting for fleets.

One of the craziest dreams I had was marrying Silver Knight and Cia Roth (I don't really know these people, I just read their blogs/stories). We had a 3-way marriage lol, it was a long drawn out dream too. The wedding AND the honeymoon.
